First 45 mins of session is creating an exploration sheet whicih is experimenting with brush and paint to get the right volume of paint to water.

Creating pattern’s we learn brush control and explore colour mixing. Exploration sheets help practice watercolour techniques such as wet on wet, wash’s, splattering and using masking fluid. Exploration sheets aren’t meant to look pretty, they are to teach techniques that we will then use later on.

I only use expensive professional watercolour paper and each customer has MDF board to tape the watercolour paper too for the best finish. I always bring professional watercolour palettes for each customer as well as professional painter’s tape and a hair dryer to dry work.
